We are so happy that you are visiting our website! We are the Beta Rho chapter of Sigma Delta Tau at the University of Virginia. We are so proud of the women in our chapter and the genuine sisterhood that is created by Sig Delt. Our chapter is made up of women from across the country- inspiring, caring, intelligent and committed to what they love, and to each other. Sig Delt has brought all of us together, despite different backgrounds and interests, and has created a unique bond between us all.

 

Throughout the school year, we support Prevent Child Abuse America and Jewish Women International. These two organizations are creating positive, lasting change for women and children across America. Locally, we also have sisters involved in community service projects all around Charlottesville.

Some of our other favorite activities include sisterhood events (movie nights, baking, or trips to Carters Mountain), date functions, and health and wellness events, like yoga classes led by sisters or hiking Humpback together! We also pride ourself on our commitment to scholarship and academic success. We encourage each other to be committed students, study together in the newly opened Rotunda, and support each other through the easy and hard classes!
